What is Mom's Cookbook?

Mom’s Cookbook is my Senior Thesis film. Originally, the film was meant to capture the beauty of cooking through a cinematic lens. Working with limited resources due to the pandemic, the direction of the film pivoted to be a narrative story about struggling with the loss of a loved one, and overcoming it in a personal way. I couldn’t be happier with the results as I was able to tell a compelling story, while still achieving the original goal of capturing food cinematically.
